Tireless steps of People’s Police: are always accompanying with the nation’s development

(PV) In the evening of 28 April 2012 at the Hall of Ministry of Defense, joining the exciting atmosphere of the whole country to practically commemorate 37 years of Great Spring Victory (30 April 1975 – 2012), liberation of the entire South, country unification, bring the land into one part only. Ministry of Public Security -  General People’s Police Force, Vietnam Television Station and Homeland Media JSC co-organize Art Exchange Program called: “Những bước chân không mỏi” (Tireless steps). The program is broadcast live on VTV2 – Vietnam Television Station ad ANTV channel – People’s Police Television. The program’s content is attached to the topic “commemorate 37 years of Great Spring Victory 30 April: Meeting – exchange among People’s Police union members, youths with Police officer fellows supported for the Southern battlefield, helped to fight for revolution of the country; continue the tradition of People’s Police: “Sacrifice for homeland, Service for People.” The program contains a profound social meaning, aiming at the tradition of glorious revolutionary fighting of People’s Police in historical period fighting for the nation’s freedom and is a heroic song regarding People’s Police soldiers “Sacrifice for homeland, Service for People”. As well as honoring and being grateful for sacrifice and losses and great contribution of officers, soldiers and families of People’s Police dead and wounded soldiers in the construction and protection of Fatherland.     

      The war has passed over 30 years, battlefield is now free from gunshots, the whole people are reviving and developing strongly. However, blood of Vietnam People’s Police officers/soldiers still bleeds, there’re still loses, sacrifices in any situation. For the safety, development, growth of Fatherland, many Vietnamese families that also have kins serving as People’s Police officers, soldiers no longer come back and suffer from many injuries on duty. Such difficulties and dangers but Tireless steps of People’s Police still present on a silent battlefield: “Stay awake for people to sleep, guard for people to play” and   there are more and more mirrors of People’s Police officers, soldiers do not regret their life and blood, sacrifice the life for the duty, clever and brave, fight against, prevent, deal with and  capture those who break the law, determine to root out and eliminate evils from social life, bring about peace, happiness for the people. Alternated among familiar songs regarding Glorious Party, Great Uncle Ho, heroic people in exchange part between Television audiences and People’s Police generals, officers who have great contribution to nation’s long-term resistance war and meet with the following generations of People’s Police ‘s tradition “Sacrifice for homeland, Service for People.” Many television viewers are specially moved when seeing Mum of revolutionary martyr – Sergeant Do Dang Loan (Hai Phong City Police), recall and show gratefulness to the hero who bravely fight and sacrifice with fortitude at a very young age of martyr Do Dang Long for a peaceful life.     

The Program also aims at propagandizing and improving obligation awareness of all classes of people regarding major functions and tasks of People’s Police in the historical revolution fighting period as well as the nation’s innovations, international economic integration. At the same time creating an exciting contest atmosphere in political security protection, social order, social safety and protect the Socialist Republic Vietnam.
