The ceramic road along the Red River in Hanoi Capital gets the Guinness world record.

 

(Reporter) In the evening dated October 5, 2010, Hanoi City People's Committee, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Guinness World Record, Hanoi Broadcast & Television, New Hanoi Company Limited and Homeland Media jointly coordinated to hold the opening and plate naming ceremony of the works in celebration of 1000th anniversary Thang Long - Hanoi and to receive the certificate of Guinness World Record for the Ceramic Road along the Red River.


In these autumn days, Hanoi Capital in particular and the entire country in general are very happy and excited toward the great festival of 1000-year old Thang Long - Hanoi. Many works served for this great event are urgently completed in which the works "Ceramic Road along the Red River" was jointly coordinated to do  by Hanoi City People's Committee and other agencies, departments, units,  enterprises, organizations and individuals  in the socialization manner. At present, the works has been completed beyond the expectation with total area scale of more than 7000m2, which contributes to beautify Hanoi city.
                                          

The works "The ceramic road along the Red River" is a variety of colorful ceramic pictures with high artistic value. With the ceramic material, the works is regarded as a documentary film showing truthful description of Vietnamese's history through dynasties. From now on, whenever traveling to Hanoi, tourists shall have the opportunity learn about and discover the culture of Hanoi and the country through this "Ceramic Road along the Red River".
